Privacy Policy

JobaSlips is a product and service of Hex-Tech Software Technologies CC, also referred to as Hex-Tech CC. Hex-Tech Software Technologies CC is the operator responsible for the personal information described in this Policy.

This Policy is effective from July 23, 2026 and applies to the JobaSlips Android app, browser platform, public website, APIs, support flows, and related services.

• Account and contact data, such as phone numbers, names, household details, employer addresses, selected towns or regions, and role assignments.
• Authentication and security data, such as OTP request records, session activity, device-linked access records, and fraud or abuse-prevention logs.
• Identity and recovery data, such as verification status, identity-document uploads, recovery requests, and review notes where those features are used.
• Optional device location. If you press "Use my location" during employer setup, the app reads your foreground device approximate coordinates to suggest a nearby Namibian town. The coordinate matching happens on the phone; JobaSlips stores the town or region you choose, not the raw coordinates used for the suggestion.
• Employment, payroll, document, and recordkeeping data, such as employment terms, payroll entries, payslips, service certificates, contracts, leave, advances, references, and support history. A sick-leave or family-responsibility record can reveal limited health or caregiving information.
• Worker finance and planning data, such as budgeting or savings-goal information, where those features are used. This private planning information is for the worker and is not shown to employers.
• Billing and transaction data, such as Google Play product and order references, purchase status, charged currency and amount, tax, subscription status, refund events, invoice details, and entitlement records. JobaSlips does not receive or store your full payment-card number from Google Play.
• Device, notification, technical, and usage data, such as a pseudonymous device identifier, push token, app version, build number, route or feature performance, error class, request metadata, and reliability or fraud-prevention signals.
• Public website usage data, such as page, section, button or form interactions, approximate visit timing, referrer category, campaign parameters, device class, and privacy-protected network or browser signals used for aggregate website analytics and abuse prevention.

• to provide and operate the service;
• to authenticate users and secure accounts;
• to generate, store, and deliver documents and payroll records;
• to send employer-approved or automated payroll notifications, including a Payslip SMS that may contain the worker's name, pay month, net pay amount, JobaSlips name, and app link;
• to support worker access to payslips, service certificates, and work history;
• to provide support, recovery, moderation, and incident handling;
• to process subscriptions, entitlements, and billing workflows;
• to improve reliability, troubleshoot issues, and prevent fraud or abuse; and
• to comply with legal obligations and defend or resolve claims or disputes.

We may share information with:

• service providers that help us host, secure, store, process, or deliver the service;
• OTP, messaging, communication, or notification providers;
• the SMS provider, which receives the destination phone number and message text needed to deliver a Payslip SMS;
• Expo and Google notification services, which receive device or push identifiers and notification delivery information when push notifications are enabled;
• Google Play, which processes purchases and provides purchase, subscription, order, tax, refund, and entitlement evidence to JobaSlips;
• professional advisers, auditors, insurers, or regulators where needed;
• law enforcement, courts, regulators, or other authorities when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, or the integrity of the service; and
• a buyer, investor, or successor in connection with a merger, financing, restructuring, sale, or transfer of all or part of the service or business.

JobaSlips does not sell or rent personal information and does not use personal information for third-party advertising.

We keep information for as long as needed for the purposes described above and for any additional period required or permitted by law, dispute handling, fraud prevention, billing, legal hold, audit, or security needs.

• Employer, worker, payroll, payslip, service-certificate, contract, and employment records may be retained for ongoing worker access, employer recordkeeping, or lawful retention purposes.
• Household archives are generally designed around long-term recordkeeping rather than immediate hard deletion, and archived records may remain stored for about seven years by default unless a different retention rule, exception, or legal hold applies.
• Support, recovery, and security records may be retained while needed to review or defend prior account actions and incidents.
• Identity-document image files uploaded for account recovery are removed after the recovery decision is completed. Limited recovery, review, audit, and security evidence may remain without the image file where needed to protect accounts and review prior actions.
• Private worker budgets, savings goals, the worker's opportunity profile, stored app notifications, and push-token registrations are removed when a worker-account deletion request is completed.
• When an employer-account deletion is completed, we remove household memberships, pending adult invites, mutable contact and invoice profile fields, employer tax and social-security identifiers, account exports, identity-recovery proofs, stored notifications, payroll templates, saved pay profiles, and household sync traces. An employer-only sign-in identity, trusted devices, and push tokens are also removed. A shared identity remains available for an unrelated worker role or another household.

If you ask us to delete an account and the verified request is completed, we delete or de-identify account-linked personal information that is no longer needed. We do not treat temporary deactivation or freezing as completed deletion. Some records may still be retained for the reasons below.

• Deleting an employer account does not necessarily erase worker-facing payslips, payroll history, service certificates, employment records, audit logs, or support records connected to that employment.
• Deleting a worker or former-worker account does not necessarily erase employment history, issued payslips, service certificates, or records that remain necessary for worker entitlements, lawful retention, dispute handling, billing, fraud prevention, or security.
• Where records are retained, access may move to archived, restricted, or read-only handling rather than active use.

• You can update some account information inside the app or by using support.
• You can request a copy of accessible account information from the export options in the app and ask support to correct inaccurate information.
• Location is optional: you can type a town instead. Push notifications are optional and can be turned off in JobaSlips or Android settings.
• You can request account deletion or closure, subject to verification and any record-retention limits described above.
• You can stop using the app at any time, although record retention may still apply to some data already collected.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. No security measure is perfect, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

JobaSlips and its service providers may process or store data in Namibia, the European Union, and other countries where our providers operate. We select service providers and apply contractual, access, encryption, and operational safeguards appropriate to the service and the information involved.

JobaSlips is not intended for account creation or direct use by persons under the age of 18. If we learn that we collected personal information directly from a person who was not allowed to create an account, we may restrict or close access and take appropriate steps under this Policy and our Terms.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date above will change when the Policy changes. We will use a reasonable in-app, website, or account notice for material changes.
